Speech pathology support that fits into real life.
Practical, collaborative Speech Pathology and Allied Health Assistant services for children, families and support teams across Geraldton, regional Western Australia and via telehealth.
Because communication doesn’t only happen in a therapy session. It happens at home, at school, in the community, at work, during mealtimes and everywhere in between.
Support for the person and the people around them.
When someone you care for needs support with communication, speech, language, literacy, AAC, feeding or swallowing, it can be difficult to know where to begin.
You might have been given strategies or some tools but still feel unsure how to use them. Different people may be approaching things in different ways. Or you may simply want someone who will listen, look at the bigger picture and help you work out what will actually make a difference in everyday life.
Galah Speech Pathology works alongside children, families, educators, carers, support workers and allied health teams to make therapy feel more practical, connected and achievable.
We don’t expect real life to fit neatly around therapy. We shape our support around the environments, routines and people that already matter to you.Speech Pathology Services
Speech pathology support with Galah Speech Pathology is practical, collaborative and grounded in real life.
We work with children, young people, adults and their families and care teams to understand what is happening across everyday routines and environments — not just in a therapy session.
Support may include communication, speech, language, literacy, AAC, visual communication, feeding and swallowing.
This may look like:
Assessment and therapy
Parent and carer coaching
School and early childhood consultation
AAC and visual communication support
Reports and recommendations
Team meetings and collaborative planning
Formal and informal training and support
The goal is to help the person and the people around them feel more confident, connected and supported.Allied Health Assistant Services
Our Allied Health Assistants provide regular, practical supports in the places where life actually happens — at home, at school, and in the community.
AHA sessions support communication, AAC, visuals, speech and language goals, play, routines and everyday participation, all delivered under speech pathology supervision, with therapy goals guided by Jasmeet. For many families, this is also a practical way to build in more regular practice within an existing therapy or NDIS budget.
The idea is simple: therapy shouldn't feel like a one-off appointment. It should be something that gets built into everyday life.
We won’t hand you a list of strategies and leave you to figure out the rest.
Our approach is practical, collaborative and capacity-building.
That means we don’t only work directly with the person receiving therapy. We support the families, carers, educators, and support teams around them too.
We’ll explain what we’re doing and why. We’ll listen to what is already working. We’ll consider the person’s routines, relationships, environment, culture and access needs. Then we’ll build on those strengths together.
We want you to leave feeling:
“I understand what to try.”
“I know why this matters.”
“I feel more confident.”
Because the most useful strategy isn’t the one that only works when the therapist is in the room. It’s the one that still makes sense on a busy Tuesday morning when real life is happening. Galah Speech Pathology’s broader philosophy is built around helping families and teams feel capable of supporting communication between appointments, rather than relying on therapy in isolation.
What working together might look like.
01. Get in touch
Tell us a little about the person, their needs, location and funding.
02. We'll find the right fit
We'll let you know if our services are a good match, and what type of support may help most.
03. We'll build a plan together
This might include speech pathology, an Allied Health Assistant program, coaching, telehealth, or a mix — shaped around real life.
04. We'll keep adjusting as we go
We'll check in on what's working, adapt what isn't, and help everyone feel confident using the strategies day to day.
