Communication access shouldn't depend on your postcode.

That's why we help the people supporting communication every day, wherever they are.

Training isn't an extra here

We believe real, lasting progress happens when therapy and capacity-building work together

When you're in a regional or remote community, accessing ongoing support isn't always easy. Long waitlists, travel, changing therapists and limited local services can leave families and support teams feeling like they're on their own.

Our training, workshops and tailored communication resources are designed to put practical support into the hands of the people who use it every day, so communication can continue long after a therapy session ends. So if you’re a carer, educator, therapist or part of a person’s care team, reach out!

“I have these great tools and now a folder full of strategies…. But HOW do I really use them?

Every workshop and resource we build starts there, shaped around the people in the room, the person they're supporting, and what they're actually facing day to day.

You'll leave with practical strategies, real answers to your questions, and the confidence to use them straight away.

Training shouldn't just help you understand communication — it should help you support it. That means knowing exactly what to do when things get hard, and how to keep building when they're going well.

Communication Training

No two trainings look the same, because no two teams are the same.

Together, we work out what you actually need — AAC or visual supports, speech and language development skills, neuroaffirming and low-demand approaches, whatever's relevant to your school, clients or team.

We want you to leave feeling empowered and confident to support your person’s communication

Bespoke Communication Resources

We design and create tailored communication resources including communication boards, visual lanyards, routine based visuals, classroom supports and place-based communication resources.

These can be personalised to a specific person, classroom, workplace or community — including incorporating First Nations languages and cultural context in collaboration with community.

Dysphagia Training

We run practical mealtime and swallowing support training for families, carers and community disability providers.

This also covers mandatory IDDSI training for disability support organisations, hospitals and aged care facilities.

For Organisations and Communities

Galah Speech Pathology works with schools, disability organisations, community groups, councils and health services  -  building communication capacity across whole teams.

This includes developing training manuals, onboarding resources or simple processes so communication support continues  when the therapist the therapist steps back.
