Why Galah?
The name comes from two places I call home —the galah, a chatty, social Aussie bird full of character, and ਗੱਲਾਂ (Gallan), the Punjabi word for "talks" and "conversations."
Together, they're exactly what speech pathology means to me: connection, communication and community.

We know that living regionally can sometimes mean long waitlists, limited services or travelling hours to access support.
We also know communication doesn't stop just because services are harder to access.
That's why we're passionate about making speech pathology more accessible through flexible service delivery, practical training, telehealth and communication resources that can be used long after we've packed up and gone home.
